OFFICIAL BIENNIALE DI VENEZIA PROJECT OFFERING UNIQUE ART EXPERIENCE IN THE BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS OF THE LOPUD ISLAND
Y The Pavilion merges art and architecture to offer viewers an extraordinary experience
of the horizon line through the specific light calibrations. The Pavilion has found an (im) permanent home on the island of Lopud in 2001, nestled in a sloping terrain of cypress trees, cacti and olive groves, thus inviting an interaction between the installation and the Mediterranean landscape it inhabits. The goal is to find new modes of artistic and architectural engagement presented through the interaction with nature and people of this island. Commissioned by Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary
