Balkan ZOO & Nina Čorić

Balkan Zoo, led by bassist and composer Mario Rašić, has been showcasing Balkan-inspired music in fresh, contemporary arrangements for a decade.

Their album “Recycle” features popular Roma tunes infused with jazz, hip hop, and electronic flamenco, joined by flamenco vocalist Nina Ćorić. Nina’s passion for Romani music is longstanding, and due to the diverse Romani melodies and their migrations, they’ve had a profound cultural impact that significantly shaped flamenco. This unique blend has earned Balkan Zoo and Nina recognition both in Croatia and internationally.
