The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, active since 1924, continues the musical tradition of the Dubrovnik Republic. Conductor Ivan Hut leads the DSO since 2020, focusing on local composers. The orchestra will celebrate the 290th birthday of Dubrovnik composer Luka Sorkočević, featuring a premiere of a new work by Petar Periša Obradović, commissioned for the Festival.
