Dubrovnik Carnival 2026

Dubrovnik Carnival 2026 returns from February 13–17, reviving the city’s Renaissance traditions with parades, music, and creative masks. Highlights include school parades, costume competitions, and the traditional “dirty macaroni” cook-off.

• Friday, Feb 13: School Day & Concerts

  • 09:00 & 12:00: Primary school parades on Stradun.

  • 20:00: DSO Costumed Concert (Marin Držić Theatre).

  • 21:00: Little Carnival Festivities & Party (Theatre Terrace).

• Saturday, Feb 14: Traditions & Competitions

  • 11:00: Brass Band, Majorettes, and Linđo Folklore Ensemble.

  • 12:00: Šporki makaruli (Dirty Macaroni) cooking competition at Luža.

  • 21:00: Fancy dress party at Lazareti Club.

• Sunday, Feb 15: Children’s Day

  • 14:00: DART Association 20th Anniversary at Rector’s Palace.

  • 15:00: Children’s carnival celebration at Lazareti.

• Monday, Feb 16: Kindergarten Day

  • 09:30: Kindergarten parades in Mokošica and on Stradun.

  • 17:00: “Spirits of the Renaissance” performance at Rector’s Palace.

• Tuesday, Feb 17: Carnival Finale

  • 20:00: Closing festivities with the band Sabioncello at City Café Arsenal.
