A Theatrical Tribute to Luko Paljetak

Inspired by the poetry of the late, great Luko Paljetak, Memory of Purple Rains is a wistful, elegiac production by Student Theatre Lero. Set against Lero’s signature stage poetics, the play weaves together fragments of Paljetak’s work alongside texts by Sławomir Mrożek, Jack Kerouac, and Davor Mojaš. This atmospheric collage explores love, illusions, and women’s destinies, serving as both a nostalgic album of Dubrovnik’s memories and a poignant theatrical plea.
