The Dubrovnik Dance Dream – Small Steps Toward Big Dreams

A Co-production by: Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Luka Sorkočević Art School, and Marin Držić Theatre

The Dubrovnik Dance Dream is a family-friendly dance performance tracking a local girl’s journey to becoming a ballerina. Moving through the four seasons, the narrative transitions from a carefree childhood in Spring and rigorous growth in Summer, through the doubts of Autumn, to the mature fulfillment of her artistic dream in Winter. Ultimately returning to the present, the show celebrates the perseverance behind achieving one’s goals and inspires the next generation of dancers.
