Lastovo Trail

Set against the backdrop of Croatia’s most remote island, the Lastovo Trail is an annual summer event that seamlessly blends sport, nature, and community spirit. Held each July, this trail race invites runners to explore the pristine landscapes of Lastovo Island, navigating through ancient olive groves, vineyards, and along historic paths that offer breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Participants can choose between two routes: the Mali Fumar (approximately 8 km) for beginners and the more challenging Veji Fumar (approximately 15 km) for seasoned runners. The event culminates at the scenic bay of Mihajla, where runners are welcomed with locally prepared meals, refreshing drinks, and the opportunity to relax by the sea. Beyond the race, the Lastovo Trail fosters a sense of community, supporting local initiatives and offering participants a unique way to experience the island’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
