Martin Ikin @ CC Revelin

Martin Ikin is a veteran British DJ and producer whose career spans over three decades. Beginning in the early 1990s rave scene, he released his first track at age 17 in 1991. Over the years, he has produced under various aliases, including DJ Mayhem, Soul Purpose, Indigo, and Migrant, before settling on his birth name.

Ikin’s music is characterized by a fusion of jazz-influenced melodies and bass-driven tech-house rhythms. His 2019 track “Hooked,” released on Fisher’s Catch & Release label, marked a significant breakthrough, leading to his recognition as Beatport’s top-selling tech-house artist in 2020.

In addition to his production work, Ikin is a classically trained jazz pianist and experienced studio engineer. His remix portfolio includes artists such as Mariah Carey, Jamiroquai, and MK. In 2024, he launched his own label, Know Where Records, focusing on innovative and high-quality tech-house music.
