Night of fortresses

NIGHT OF FORTRESSES, a cultural-tourist event held at established monuments of cultural heritage such as forts, castles, and fortifications. The event was first organized in 2022 in Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina through the joint European project FORTITUDE. Over the past two years, the event has connected and promoted programs at more than 45 fortification sites across 6 countries. Its aim is to enhance cultural and tourist offerings in European cities with heritage sites and highlight the importance of cultural heritage for cultural tourism development.
