Orsula Summer Festival: Rundek i ekipa

Darko Rundek began his career in the 1970s as a singer and guitarist, later becoming a songwriter and composer for the legendary Zagreb new wave band Haustor, originally named Nagradni Bataljon. In Haustor, he primarily wrote the lyrics while Srđan Sacher composed the music. The band was known for experimenting with music, instruments, and influences from both foreign and local new wave rhythms. In 1997, Rundek released his first solo album, Apokalipso, featuring around 30 musicians. After his second album, U širokom svijetu, he started working in France with several musicians on the project Ruke, which eventually evolved into Rundek Cargo Orkestar. This group performed actively for many years, filling venues across the former Yugoslavia and beyond. At Orsula, Rundek will perform with his new full band, simply named EKIPA.
