Ponta Lopud Film Festival 2026

During the Ponta Lopud Film Festival the island of Lopud transforms into a Mediterranean haven for art and cinema, celebrating creativity in all its forms. From June 26 to 28, the Ponta Lopud Film Festival returns for its fifth edition, offering open-air screenings, masterclasses, and intimate discussions with renowned filmmakers.  “Ponta Lopud” is a creative hub where film professionals have the opportunity to gain new experiences and build long-term professional and friendly relationships. In the inspiring environment of peace and the unique beauty of Lopud Island, along with local cuisine, they have the opportunity to engage in conversations and various workshops about film, visual arts, and the art of living.

• Wednesday, June 24 (Pre-Festival)

  • 17:15 – Ennio (2021) | Free screening of Giuseppe Tornatore’s documentary about composer Ennio Morricone.

• Thursday, June 25

  • 21:00 – Bob Marley: One Love (2024) | Reinaldo Marcus Green’s musical biopic.

• Friday, June 26

  • 21:00 – Close (2022) | Lukas Dhont’s Cannes Grand Prix-winning Belgian drama.

  • 23:00 – Cinema Paradiso (1988) | Giuseppe Tornatore’s lyrical Italian classic.

• Saturday, June 27

  • 21:00 – Koke | Exclusive early screening of Igor Jelinović’s Dalmatian family-drama debut, followed by a Q&A with the director and lead actress Snježana Sinovčić-Šiškov.

• Sunday, June 28

  • Evening – Ennio Morricone Tribute Concert | Performed by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Robert Homen) with guest soloists, followed by the festival’s closing party.

Parallel Exhibition: “Nomadia”

• Dates: June 25 – September 1 (Open daily, 17:00–21:00)

• Venue: Former Pracat Hotel

• Details: Art exhibition featuring works by Deša Petričić Vlahutin, Nikolina Šimunović, and Carla Chiusano.

Travel Note: Boat transfers from Dubrovnik are organized via the Lokrum Reserve, alongside regular Jadrolinija ferry lines.
