Music and Word Festival in Konavle

The Music and Word Festival organised in serene ambience of the Koavle region, is a celebration of sounds, stories, and drama. Curated by the Konavle Art Association, this long-standing festival draws together musicians, poets, actors, and artists from Croatia and beyond, creating an inspired blend of art and nature.

Held across charming Konavle villages, from Cavtat and Čilipi to Gruda, Pridvorje, and Molunat, the festival offers an eclectic lineup of classical concerts, poetry nights, exhibitions, and theatre, all with a spotlight on emerging local talents. For nearly two decades, Music and Word has been shaping a cultural rhythm that bridges tradition with contemporary expression, giving the region a voice that resonates far beyond its borders.
